Whitney Houston Dead At 48 [Video]

The publicist for Whitney Houston has confirmed the superstar of pop music has died at the age of 48.

The cause and location of the singers death are not known.

In the 80′s, Houston was at the peak of her career, scoring number one hits on the Billboard Top 40 charts time and time again. She remained one of the industry’s best-selling musicians until the mid-90′s when drug use, erratic behavior and a turbulent marriage to singer Bobby Brown took their toll on Houston.

Houston was 48. She is survived by a daughter, Bobbi Kristina, now 18.
