The Earth Day celebration is tomorrow, Saturday, April 20 and Wesselman Woods is ready with a day full of events for you and the whole family!  The Evansville Earth Event will feature family activities, eco-friendly demonstrations, guided nature hikes, live animal encounters, scavenger hunts and much more.Rivertown Storytellers will be there, as will the Magic Gardener, the Tristate Herpatological Society and other local groups.  Over 40 local organizations and businesses will demonstrate tools and techniques that anyone can use to become more earth savvy and enjoy the outdoors more.

There will also be an obstacle course made out of recyclables by the Children's Museum of Evansville, a Trails and Tales preschool program, a worm dig and many other hands-on nature experiences.  EVIE, the Litter Dog, WES the raccoon mascot and other live animals will be there, too!
