Today marks the return of our weekly 30-minute show with Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke. The show airs every Wednesday from 8:30am-9am. And in case you missed it today, you can hear the entire show here.

Since we took a brief hiatus from the show this summer, we had to do a bit of catch-up in the first segment. We discussed a couple recurring events that are happening this weekend, including another Energize Evansville event and a special edition of the Mayor's Traveling City Hall. Mayor Winnecke also gave us some more details about the Roberts Stadium demolition, and explained the numbers a little more in depth.

In the second segment we welcomed Ed Hafer, president of the Evansville Redevelopment Comission, into the Newstalk 1280 studio. Mr. Hafer and the Mayor discussed several big projects taking place in downtown Evansville, including the new convention hotel project, what to do with the former McCurdy Hotel, and the ongoing work at the old post office building.

There was definitely a lot of information on today's show. And again, if you missed it, or would like to hear any or all of it again, the audio is available below.
