Washington state high schools Tumwater and Capital could very easily be nondescript rivals on 'The Simpsons,' but an incredible, momentum-changing 2-point conversion during their Sept. 22 double-overtime battle won by Tumwater has brought the schools national fame.

Trailing 21-13 with just over three minutes to play, Tumwater scored a touchdown and decided to go for two points and tie the game. They didn't use a very traditional play to convert the 2-point attempt.

Tumwater quarterback Jayden Croft turned his back to the line of scrimmage and blindly shoveled the ball over his head toward the goal line — just like a bride would do with a wedding bouquet— as wide receiver Jamie Bryant leaped in the air above the Capital defenders to make the catch.

Bryant, who is committed to Washington next fall, was injured on the play, but Tumwater rallied without him, outlasting Capital 35-28 in double overtime.
