24/7 Wall St. made a list of the best places to retire in each state. Surprisingly, the best place to retire in Indiana is right here in the Tri-State! Warrick County was named the "Best Place To Retire In Indiana" according to the study.

How, out of all 92 counties in the state was Warrick County named the best? As a Warrick County resident, I would assume that the beautiful golf courses in retirees' backyard played a role in that. Not to mention the growing communities like Newburgh and Boonville. However, the methodology of this study was far more detailed than that. According to 24/7 Wall St.:

To identify the best place to retire in every state, 24/7 Wall St. created an index of 17 health and economic factors in U.S. counties and areas considered equivalent to counties by the U.S. Census Bureau, including parishes and boroughs. Only counties where the 65-and-over population grew at least as fast as the nation and was larger than the national average were considered.

This is something that all Warrick County residents should be proud of...even if they are far from retirement. We live in a great community, and it clearly shows!

Oh, and if you're wondering what the best places to retire are in Kentucky and Illinois, the study revealed that information too. Another Tri-State county, Daviess County, Kentucky was named the Best Place To Retire In Kentucky. Owensboro is another growing community that has so much to offer to the residents, so that doesn't come as a surprise to me at all. As far as Illinois goes, Sangamon County was named the Best Place To Retire.
