Kathy Grossman is facing something that lots of people fear - falling from a very high place - all in hopes that she can raise money for her favorite charity, It Takes a Village Canine Rescue. Kathy fosters dogs and knows the expense it takes to care for animals waiting for their forever home so she entered a contest sponsored by the New River Gorge Bridge. One day out of the year, NRGB closes down for base jumpers from all over the world to take the plunge. This year, they have offered $1,000 and a tandem jump to the charity that gets the most votes.  If she wins, Kathy will free tandem base jump off the New River Gorge Bridge which is over 870 ft high.
