VHS – Perfect Pets In Need of a Forever Family [PICS]

Every week, Amanda Coburn from the Vanderburgh Humane Society sends me several pics of pets that are looking for a forever home. Take a look!

DOGS -

Layla – This beautiful Shepherd mix is Layla! She was surrendered with 2 other dogs due to landlord issues. She would likely do well in a home with a canine companion or two. She’s a little shy, so a home with older kids (above the age of 5) would make her happiest. She’s an active girl who will need plenty of daily walks & playtime! Ben – Ben is a 5-year-old male red Dachshund! He’s on the bigger side, weighing in at almost 20 lbs. He would be happiest in a home with kids over the age of 12. His perfect home would be a more mature one, perhaps as a companion for an older person! Ben is heartworm-positive, but don’t worry – his treatment is included in his $120 adoption fee. CATS -

Raisin – This sweet girl is Raisin, and you can’t easily tell in the photo but she is three-legged! She was extremely shy when she first came to VHS, but she’s really doing great coming out of her shell in the Cageless Cat Lounge. Her missing leg does not slow her down when it comes to climbing & jumping! Take Raisin home for only $30, which includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, and more! www.vhslifesaver.org

Tinka – Tinka has been waiting on a home at the VHS since March, longer than ALL the other cats in the whole building! She is outgoing, and loves to play with people and other cats.
