As we celebrate Veteran's Day, some business would like to give back to the men and women who have served or currently serve our great country. Here are a few....

  •  Today, active, inactive and retired military personnel can build your own free Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. until noon at participating Denny's.
  • Outback Streakhouse is offering a free Bloomin' Onion and drink. You must show a valid military ID at participating restaurants.
  • At Hooters, dine for free on today: get a free entree by presenting a military ID or proof of service.
  • Applebee's is offering a free "Thank You" meal when you dine in at Applebee's. You will need to provide proof of service.
  • Veterans get a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert at Cracker Barrel. If you're not a vet and buy the dessert or other retail items, 10 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the USO.
  • Baskin Robbins' flavor of the month, in honor of Veterans Day, is First Class Camouflage Ice Cream. Baskin Robbins' will donate 10 cents from ice cream scoops sold at all U.S. locations to the United Service Organizations (USO).
