UE Opera Department is Hosting UE Opera Gala “Stars of Tomorrow” This Saturday Night

Every night, when my daughter goes to bed, I let her listen to soaring soprano voices on Pandora's opera channel. Last night, one of my favorite opera composers, Puccini, was featured and I longed for a chance to hear one of his operas performed live.

I googled opera in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Louisville. Each has a city opera to enjoy. With a grim outlook, I googled Evansville opera and I was overjoyed to find that our very own University of Evansville has an opera department. And, this Saturday, Jan 26, 2014, the UE Opera Department is hosting UE Opera Gala "Stars of Tomorrow" where students will perform opera classics.
