Twilight Tuesdays At Mesker Park Zoo

You can now enjoy evening hours at Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden every Tuesday through September 16. During this time, the zoo will stay open until 8pm, with last admittance is at 7 pm.. Zoo members are free, and general admission costs during the summer are Adults: $8.50, Children (age 3 -12): $7.50, with Children 2 and Under: Free. Vanderburgh county residents receive $1 off of admission.

Amos Morris, Zoo Director shares “Offering evening hours is in direct response to requests from our guests and zoo members—they want more access to their zoo and we are happy that we could make that happen for the remaining weeks of summer.”  Morris states that Twilight Tuesday guests will have access to all of the amenities offered during normal zoo hours.  “The Rainforest Grill and Gift Shop will be open, the tram will be running.” Morris notes that evening visitors may observe some different animal behavior as they prepare for nightfall.  He adds, “We hope the community will support these expanded hours so that this can become a regular offering.”
