  • Drought – Drought continues to plague the tri-state area. Farmers concerned – Feds visit Hoosier farms to survey damage.
  • Boonville Daycare Found with Meth Lab – Top floor of a Boonville daycare was converted into a meth lab. Two arrested.
  • Irish Music Session – today at Ri-Ra’s
  • Chick-Fil-A –Chick-Fil-A’s president Dan Cathy told the Baptist Press on Monday that his company does not support gay marriage. He said: “We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.” The company has always been strong Christian values. The restaurant chain remains closed every Sunday.
  • Kitty Wells – The legendary country singer passed away at the age of 92.
    • She’s credited with paving the way for other female country legends like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn.
    • His Deep Purple colleagues like Ian Gillan, Steve Morse, and Roger Glover have paid tribute on by expressing their condolences.
    • Kelly Pickler wrote on Twitter: My heart cries over the loss of Ms. Kitty Wells. She is and always will be the true Queen of Country Music.
