You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here.

In just over a week, Southern Rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd will pull in to Evansville’s Ford Center for one of this summer’s most highly anticipated concert events. That means that soon area rednecks and regular Joes will converge under the same roof in a solemn union of overdue hell raising that is almost certain to result in more people calling in sick to work the next morning than any other concert taking place in the tri-state this year.

That’s because no matter where they are in life, a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan is likely to indulge in some level of good-natured debauchery that may or may not include copious amounts of cheap beer and some kind of whiskey. What’s more is that after the final notes of “Freebird” have been played and the house lights are turned up at the Ford Center, many fans will still be amped up and simply nowhere near ready to go home.

For those Skynyrd fans that refuse to throw in towel after the concert and plan to continue partying on through the night, here are a few places around Evansville that will gladly keep the bar open for you.

1. Lamasco Bar and Grill featuring Aaron Kamm and the One Drops

2. Cecils’s Bar and Grill featuring Karaoke

3. Main Gate Sports Bar and Restaurant featuring Karaoke

4. O’Brien’s Sports Bar and Grill featuring Karaoke with DJ Magic Mike

5. Time Out Lounge and Grill featuring Karaoke with Travis

6. RiRa’s Irish Pub featuring an acoustic show
