With Easter quickly approaching, I am making preparations for all the things that go along with the sacred holiday. Church plans, after church restaurant reservations, outfits for my child and myself, shoes to go along with those outfits, Easter egg hunts, and bunny photos. I'd say, my total time spent planning and executing Easter 2014 will be 8-9 hours of my life. Sounds unbelievable, but it's very true.

After watching the below video, it puts into perspective how little time we actually have to do things we enjoy. As a working mom, I truly appreciate my time spent with my daughter - but I have to remember to make each day count. Even the two hours we have together after work and one hour before.

I hope you get as much out of this as I did. Do you find that you are spending too much time doing little things that add up? Maybe we should focus more on other priorities and less on things that don't really matter. Happy Easter.
