The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Hazardous Weather Statement for Western Kentucky, Southwest Indiana and Southern Illinois today. Not only will the temperatures reach above 95 degrees - over 105 in some places - but there's also a risk of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes this afternoon into this evening. There's also the threat of damaging winds, flooding and hail.

If you or someone you know does not have access to air conditioning, contact The Red Cross, Salvation Army or visit your local public library. Stay hydrated and do not leave children or pets in the car! If the power goes out, tune in to our Radiopup app and check back to this website for watches and warnings.
