‘The American Bible Challenge’ Comes to the Game Show Network [Video]

I actually had to do a double-take when I heard a commercial for this new show. I thought, "did they really just say a Bible trivia show is gonna be on TV?" Surely I misheard that, right? Wrong. It's real and it's coming.

Jeff Foxworthy, the longtime host of the game show "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" and founding member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, will be the host of the show that premieres this Thursday (8/23) at 7pm on the Game Show Network.

On the show, teams compete and answer Bible related trivia questions. The best part about it is that the winning team doesn't keep their prize money. Instead they either donate it to charity or to a particular ministry. How cool is that? I am really excited about this show. Unfortunately we don't have GSN, so I won't be able to watch. But I certainly hope lots of people do watch and the show is a huge success.
