Where can you go fishing for FREE in Indiana?

You’re invited to fish the state’s public waters this Saturday, May 18th!  So, get out those fishing poles or purchase one and enjoy a day of fishing without a fishing license or a salmon/trout stamp.

Indiana provides four free days this Spring, so take advantage of taking the family for a day of fun on public waters. Normally, anyone 18 years or older would need a fishing license; children 17 and younger don’t require a license on any day.

Be sure to save these other dates for Free Fishing Days in Indiana:

  • June 1
  • June 2

Be sure to visit Free Fishing Days for more information on Indiana's public waters.
