Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and Leadership Evansville hope to get your attention with BAM! It stands for Big Action Meeting - and the first one is TODAY at The Centre at 5:30pm.

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will proclaim Monday, September 23, 2013, as “LST 325 Homecoming Day” in Evansville, and the barge where the Landing Ship Tank (LST) docks most of the year will be repainted this week in preparation for the return of Evansville’s warship from an annual fundraising cruise.

Members of the University of Evansville Men’s Basketball Team and the Evansville IceMen hockey team staff will be among approximately 150 volunteers picking-up trash on the city’s South East Side this Saturday.

Residents will have an opportunity to learn about the hidden dangers of radon gas and register for free radon gas detector kits that will be given away at the Traveling City Hall meeting Wednesday, August 28th, from 5:30pm-7pm at McGary Middle School, located at 1535 S. Joyce Ave.
