'The Muppets 2' originally had Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz cast as the film's new villain, a bumbling Interpol agent. But Waltz was forced to drop out due to scheduling concerns and was replaced by 'Modern Family' star Ty Burrell (interesting choice for a replacement...). But now it appears that Waltz may star in 'The Muppets 2' after all, in a different role.

'Django Unchained' hasn't even debuted to the masses yet but we already know it's a cinematic force to be reckoned with as it's been nominated for five categories in the 2013 Golden Globes, including Best Picture and Best Director. It's been quiet on the 'Muppet 2' front for a while. We knew that James Bobin would return to write and direct, with writing assistance from Nicholas Stoller, and we knew that the sequel would be Jason Segel-free. But it looks like now they've started the casting process for the next film, and the first name is a bit of a surprise: Christoph Waltz.

I loved this movie! How's that for a short review? Old-fashioned corny schmaltz like this doesn't appeal to that many people these days, but I enjoyed this one 'way out of all my expectations.
