SWIRCA & More to Host Veterans Day Celebration Today

SWIRCA & More will be hosting our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 7^th from 9:00am-12:00pm at the SWIRCA & More Activity Center. Veterans of all ages and those who are presently serving our country are invited to join us for a celebration in their honor.

Speakers for the event include Congressman Dr. Larry Bucshon and Jim Koutz. Koutz, a past National Commander of the American Legion will deliver the keynote address. A recognition program will also take place including a Salute to Our Veterans performed by the Delaware Elementary School First Graders, the Missing Man Table Presentation by Rolling Thunder Indiana Chapter 6, a presentation by Solider Dogs for Independence and more. A complimentary lunch will follow the program.

The SWIRCA & More Activity Center is a source for fitness, games, and social gatherings for anyone over the age of 50. Special events, holiday celebrations and routine weekly activities are all offered. SWIRCA and More is located at 16 W Virginia St. Evansville, IN 47710.
