The Energize Evansville “Fitness in the Park” monthly exercise program will be at Lorraine Pool this Saturday for the second “Summer of Swimming” water aerobics session. The pool exercises will be led by instructors with Tri-State Athletic Club from 9am-11am.

The session will be broken down into four 30-minute segments. Participants may join any of the programs:

  • 9am:  Warm-up Aqua Zumba
  • 9:30am:  Water in Motion Shallow Cardio Splash
  • 10am:  Pool-aties
  • 10:30am:  Copper “toned” Muscle Definition and Cool-Down

Aqua shoes are recommended.

All fitness levels are welcome, and participants can go at their own pace. Lifeguards will be present to monitor children during the workout sessions.

The final “Sumer of Swimming” free pool exercise session will be held next month at Rochelle-Landers Pool on August 17th from 9am-11am.

“Fitness in the Park” is a health and fitness program launched by Mayor Winnecke as part of his Energize Evansville initiative to promote healthier lifestyles. The program is held the third Saturday of each month at a different city park featuring local fitness experts leading group exercises.
