I always enjoy hearing what Bradley DeHart is up to. He is the new Director of Development & Public Relations for St. Joseph Peace Mission for children. Bradley shares the reason why St. Joseph Peace Mission got started. St. Joseph Peace Mission was born from our community's outrage over the 1995 murder of 4 year old Phillip Strain.

St. Joseph Peace Mission is located at 1328 W. 3rd Street in Owensboro, KY. The homes provide residential facilities for children in need.

Bradley also talks about these amazing facilities and how they each provide help to serve children who have been neglected, abused, children having children, siblings and pregnant teens.

St. Joseph Peace Mission recently dedicated their newest additon; the Cliff Brandon Annex. The Yewell's Home for boys serves High School through 18 years of age with substance and alcohol abuse.

The 19th annual Trek for St. Joseph Peace Mission takes place on Sunday, June 12 starting at 7:30 am. This is their major fundraiser for St. Joseph. Come on out and join in! You can Bike, Walk, Run, push a stroller, and go whatever distance you want. The Trek starts in Calhoun, Ky at First Security Bank and ends at David Yewell's home.

Before you do the Trek or any exercise here is a warm up exercise you can do to get your body ready to work out!
