As the mother of a toddler, my life can be summed up like this: #thestruggleisreal. One of my biggest struggles is what to do with all her stuff when she outgrows it. I started an unofficial circle of new moms. I bundle all the goods up and make a delivery of gently used items. They have to give it back or pass it to another new mom when they are done. Unfortunately, it all keeps coming back to me along with some new items. Fortunately, I found out this morning how I can recoup a bit of my money, and help other moms along with some great charities.

On February 6th from 8 - 12 PM, St. John Mother to Mother Ministry in Newburgh will be hosting a consignment sale. Admission is $1 and after a 30 minute break at 10 AM, all items will be half price.

Children under 12 (except infants in a soft carrier or sling) will be permitted in the sale. Dads and grandparents welcome. Consigners also welcome. You don't even have to stay with your items or pick them up and you get 70% of selling price. Details on website.

Our sale is a not-for-profit sale. We are a moms’ group providing a service to those selling and purchasing gently used children and maternity items. The proceeds from the sale go to supporting our ministry as well as other family-centered ministries including: Birthright, Holly’s House, Pregnancy Resource Center, Habitat for Humanity, Make a Wish Foundation, Newburgh Food Pantry, Tri-State Food Bank, Inspiring Autism Spectrum Families, and many others. To date over $9,000 has been donated to community organizations.
