Best Known For: A 12-time All-Star guard nicknamed 'The Big O,' Oscar Robertson played for the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks from 1960 to 1974. He is the only player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season (1961-62). Robertson was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1961. He was a member of the Bucks' team that won the NBA title in 1971. Robertson played on the U.S. men's national team that won the gold medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980. An antitrust suit filed on his behalf by the NBA Players Association helped pave the way for free agency in basketball.

Best Known For: An excellent defensive catcher, Steve Yeager played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Seattle Mariners from 1972 to 1986. While with the Dodgers in 1981, Yeager shared the Most Valuable Player Award of the World Series with teammates Ron Cey and Pedro Guerrero. In 1976, Yeager was injured when a broken bat hit him in the throat in the on-deck circle. He became the first catcher to wear a throat protector.
