While serving as the general manager of the Padres from 1981 to 1990, McKeon was nicknamed ‘Trader Jack’ for his frequent player deals. McKeon was named National League Manager of the Year both while with the Reds in 1999 and the Marlins in 2003. He managed the Marlins to the World Series championship in 2003.

Best Known For: A three-time All-Star pitcher, Luis Tiant played for the Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates and California Angels from 1964 to 1982. A native of Cuba, Tiant had a unique delivery that involved him turning his back to home plate before delivering the pitch. He was the starting pitcher for the Red Sox in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series, which was eventually won by Boston on Carlton Fisk’s extra-inning home run.
