More lane restrictions are set for Thursday morning on the southbound Twin Bridges as crews work to repair potholes and "remove accumulated debris" according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 2.

At this point I think it's safe to assume there will almost always be lane restrictions on one, or both, of the Twin Bridges as the state of Kentucky seems to be conducting a consistent stream of much-needed maintenance projects.

This latest project will begin at 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning, and will require closure of the right hand lane while crews take care of business. All traffic heading into Henderson will be required to move over into the left hand or passing lane. The KYTC strongly encourages motorists to slow down and use caution while travelling through the work zone to help avoid in accidents or injuries to workers.

Fortunately the restriction won't last long as work is expected to be completed by Noon on Thursday.

And here's some even better news, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet also announced there will be no lane restrictions on either bridge over Easter Weekend.
