SMILE 2013 Buddy Walk Photos

The 2013 SMILE ON DOWN SYNDROME BUDDY WALK took place yesterday at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center. The weather was not great, to say the least, but that didn't stop anybody from having a good time! I woke up in a pretty terrible mood. I had mosquito bites from the night before, I was really tired and it was POURING! Within five minutes of being at this event my day completely turned around. If you've never gone to support something like this you should REALLY make the effort next time. The people that are affected by this syndrome are the people with the best attitudes. You can't help but be happy when you're with them. I had created the video below to give you an idea of what an event like this entails. Keep in mind, it was rainy and wet, dark and gloomy, but by the looks of the people below, it was the best day of their life.
