Sirius XM has announced that they are purchasing all of Pandora's stock...a deal that is worth $3.5 billion. What will this mean to the millions of us that enjoy the FREE music provided by Pandora?

Back in 2008, Sirius merged with XM to form one mega satellite radio service. They now have roughly 36 million subscribers. Combine that with the nearly 70 million active monthly Pandora users and you've got a pretty huge music provider.

So what changes, if any, will come to Pandora? Will it still be offered as a free music option? I'm curious to see how Sirius handles the situation.
