San Francisco 49ers Beat Atlanta Falcons for NFC Championship

Talk about a comeback! The 49ers were down 17-0. Then the 49ers come back and win the NFC Championship game 28-24.

San Francisco managed to keep the Flacons from scoring at all during the second half.

This sends the 49ers to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1995.

Having lived for several years in central California, I spent a lot of Sundays cheering for the 49ers, watching in a bar dominated by San Francisco fans, and served drinks by a bartender who was a former linebacker for the 49ers.

There’s a certain amount of nostalgia that has me wanting to cheer for San Francisco.
