Being a ball boy seems like an easy gig -- you get to sit on the field and only have to jump out of it to corral balls that are out of play.

Someone should go over the job description with this poor kid.

During this past weekend's New York Yankees-Kansas City Royals series in Kansas City, the Royals ball boy fielded a FAIR ball. The incident clearly scarred him because during the next inning he remained on his keester when a foul ball came toward him.

There must be something in the water because it's not the first time a Royals ball boy has interfered with a live ball. Aside from ending the franchise's nearly three-decade playoff drought, this may be the biggest problem facing the team.
