Reindeer Run/Walk to support Care Net

I cannot believe we are already in November and Christmas is right around the corner! The Christmas shopping has already started for me, presents for our ten grandchildren. With that many grands, you have to get a head start. I am so excited about the upcoming Reindeer Run/Walk to support Care Net Owensboro. Sherrianne Leach, Care Net's Event Coordinator came on Shaped by Faith to talk about their 2nd Annual Reindeer Run/Walk. I am super excited about this event because Shaped by Faith is a sponsor this year! Also,the long sleeve tees are extremely cute! I really want the T-shirt!

Brenda Sharp, the lady I have been coaching all year is going to be doing her first 5K in this event! I am super excited about walking this with her. Please come on out and cheer her on!

2nd annual Care Net Reindeer Run/Walk will begin Saturday, December 3rd at McConnell Plaza (directly behind the Hampton Inn). Race day registration begins at 8am and the race begins at 9am. Come dressed in crazy, Christmas attire. Prizes will be given for the most original child/adult costume.

In our radio interview, Sherrianne also explained what the faces of Care Net looks like. Did you know that Care Net offers some amazing educational programs at our local High Schools? Care Net teaches on sexual integrity and identity issues. Care Net was recently awarded a benefit grant from Owensboro Health that will allow them to expand some of their services they now offer like STD and STI screeings. All of the services offered at Care Net are absolutely FREE and kept confidential. Care Net also offers free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds.
