From gods of the stadium, to the gods of 'Olympus,' Peter Berg sure is keeping busy these days. A 'Friday Night Lights' movie still languishes in development hell, but Berg's next project might be a reel doozy if taken to series. We've just learned that Berg has set his sights on developing 'Olympus,' a Greek god drama with a modern twist, complimenting a FOX development slate that includes yet another godly drama as well, so what seems so electrifying about 'Olympus'?

Is FOX starting to worship the Greek gods? Judging by their development slate, including upcoming drama 'Olympus' with 'Friday Night Lights' creator Peter Berg, they may well have. According to Deadline, the network has put into development Berg's drama 'Olympus,' to be co-written by 'Sons of Anarchy' writer Taylor Sheridan.

Described as "Bourne by way of '300,'" 'Olympus' follows a decorated soldier-spy who learns he may actually be descended from the Greek gods themselves, and could be humanity’s last hope as well. Sheridan will write the script, which has a put pilot commitment at FOX.

'Olympus' is actually the second Greek god drama on FOX's slate, in addition to 'Headache' graphic novel adaptation 'Athena,' in which a young woman discovers herself to be the goddess of the same name. What say you? If Peter Berg keeps clear eyes and a full heart, is 'Olympus' incapable of losing? Tell us if you'll check it out!
