The trailer for 'Oblivion' was recently released and it looks pretty cool, but in case you wanted some more info, director Joseph Kosinski has provided some interesting commentary for the upcoming film starring Tom Cruise.

IGN posted this 12 minute video with director Joseph Kosinski providing commentary on the trailer for his new film 'Oblivion.' The director elaborates on some of the imagery we saw in the first trailer while giving us some additional, extended peeks at the film.

'Oblivion' takes place in a world where Earth's landscape has been devastated following decades of war with an alien race. One of the few drone repairmen left is sent to Earth and discovers a crashed spacecraft that holds the answers to what really happened on Earth, and calls into question everything he thought he knew about the war, threatening to change his entire perception.

The film co-stars Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Melissa Leo, Zoe Bell, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of 'Game of Thrones.' We're liking what we've seen so far of 'Oblivion,' which hits theaters on April 19, 2013, and this commentary from Joseph Kosinski has us even more intrigued than we already were.
