Obviously, every athlete wants to win a championship ring. It’s the ultimate goal in every professional sport. It took LeBron James almost a decade to finally win his first championship. But championships don’t come easy.

The Miami Heat won their second NBA championship in franchise history last week and they are already feeling the pressure to repeat. Especially after boasting at the start of the 2010-2011 season that they will win seven championships while James, Bosh and Wade are together.

Other teams will also feel the pressure to win it all, including Miami’s NBA Finals opponent the Oklahoma City Thunder. Other teams feeling the heat (no pun intended) include the star-studded New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls. The Knicks need to win now to quiet fans and the media, and the Bulls must make up for limping out of the playoffs after dominating the NBA for a majority of the season.
