Last we heard, 'The Muppets 2' was bringing Oscar-winning Christoph Waltz on to join the sequel (which was being described as akin to 'The Great Muppet Caper') but now we have some more details on 'The Muppets 2' which looks to be happening sooner rather than later.

Still untitled, 'The Muppets 2' is set to begin filming in January and will be set in London (where filming will also take place). Though stars Jason Segel and Amy Adams won't be back, Bret McKenzie, who won an Oscar for his song "Man or a Muppet" will return to write new songs for the film. And maybe most interesting of all, is that a new Muppet will be joining the cast.

How many new Muppets will join the film remains unclear but it looks as if we'll have at least one new addition to the gang.

As for what we know, here's a quick recap:

- Jason Segel, who wrote and starred in the original, will not be returning but may shoot a cameo that helps bridge the gap between the two films.
- Nicholas Stoller, the director of 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' who co-wrote the original with Segel, has again written the script, this time with James Bobin, who directed the original film and will return for 'Muppets 2.'
- Fozzie will tell some horrible jokes.

So what Muppets that didn't get much screentime in the first film would you like to see highlighted in 'The Muppets 2?' Are you bummed that Segel won't be returning?

'The Muppets 2' is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2013.
