It’s hard to imagine there was once a time when Mila Kunis was considered just another player of FOX’s ‘That ’70s Show,’ consdering the filmic body of work (and her own body of work) we know her by these days.  Now we’ve learned that Kunis will return to her TV roots, though not as you might thing.  The ‘Ted’ star has signed on to executive produce new CW period feminism drama ‘Meridan Hills,’ but how big an involvement will Mila Kunis have?

Mila Kunis is returning to TV, though not quite as prominently as her former ‘That 70′s Show’ stars Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, or even Wilmer Valderrama.  Instead, the actress will go behind the scenes to executive produce The CW’s upcoming period women’s liberation drama Meriden Hills, along with ‘Party of Five’ co-creator Chris Keyser.

Set in the 1970′s, ‘Meridan Hills’ takes place in a “boozy” Midwest country club at a time when the Equal Rights Amendment had just passed Congress to begin the process of state ratification.  Per Deadline, The drama centers on young female newlywed who joins the Junior League, meeting an eclectic group of other young women who ally with her to change the system.

We can hope for an appearance from Mila Kunis down the line, but what say you?  Are you interested to see The CW tackle something other than supernatural dramas?  Would you tune in for ‘Meridan Hills?’
