Migraines, Heart Attacks and Strokes May Be Linked
My wife, Jenny, is a migraine sufferer and I'm sad to read the news that migraines, heart attacks and strokes could be linked. A recent study involving 28,000 women demonstrated that migraines with "auras" (flashing lights and/or blind spots) contributed to heart attacks and strokes.
Unfortunately, the bad news continues...scientists don't know why this link exists. However, if you suffer from migraines, you can take some measures to help your condition. For example, don't smoke, watch your weight, exercise and do your best to keep your blood pressure down.
