Mesker Zoo – Bloomin’ Zoo Festival This Weekend

The 11th Annual Bloomin' Zoo Garden Festival is coming up this Saturday and Sunday at Mesker Park Zoo.

Tropical bedding plants, unusual perennials, trees, shrubs, & ornamental grasses, among others, will be available for purchase during the festival. The Zoo's Botanical Department has been busy growing and preparing these unique items for the festival that is taking place from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day. Folk music will add ambiance to the event as visitors make their selections from among the largest available collection in the history of the Bloomin' Zoo Garden Festival!

If you are a zoo member, you can attend a Sneak Preview Party this Friday from 5:00-7:30 p.m. This event will provide Zoo members an exclusive opportunity to shop early and sample hors d'oeuvres prepared by the Zoo's own chef. Memberships will be sold at the Preview Party for those wishing to purchase a Zoo membership or renew an expired membership.
