Even though it doesn't fell like baseball weather right now, Spring will be here before you know it, and children from all over the Tri-State will be gearing up to hit diamonds across the area. For children whose families can't afford to get their children involved, Mattingly Charities RBI Program gives them the chance to play for free.

The mission of the RBI Program is to give boys and girls between the ages of six and 15 in the Evansville area interested in playing either baseball or softball the opportunity to do so while creating a positive and fun environment while they learn not only the game, but the fundamentals of healthy competition, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

The program is completely free to families and even provides the proper equipment to youth athletes who can't provide their own. However, children who do have equipment are more than welcome to use it.

Sign ups are underway now, with the season set to begin in April. For more information, and to register your child, or children, visit the Mattingly Charities website.
