Well, it must be Christmas because several radio stations have decided to start their "ho-ho-shows" early. Insideradio.com has details:

Two weeks before Halloween, more than five weeks before Thanksgiving and nearly ten weeks before Christmas, radio has begun taking its listeners on a 24/7-sleigh ride. Three stations nationwide have already put the format on the air.

And they shall remain nameless - and should be ashamed for rushing the season. You'll be happy to know that for the umpteenth year in a row NewsTalk 1280 WGBF will NOT convert to playing all Christmas music during the holidays. We leave that to our sister station 105.3 WJLT.
