The Evansville IceMen lost the first of a three-game home stand in the Ford Center last night. The game was a defensive match and remained scoreless until mid-way through the 3rd period when the Ft. Wayne Komets scored the only goal to win 1-0.

The IceMen fall to (15-22-4) on the season and remain in fifth place in the North Division with 34 points. Ft. Wayne improves its recored to (22-17-2) on the season and remain in second place with 46 points.

Evansville will have an opportunity to leapfrog the fourth place Wings on Friday as Kalamazoo comes to the Ford Center.
