Apparently, meth can make a person crave carpet lint.

Authorities in Louisville, Kentucky say that over the weekend they arrested 50-year-old Jeffery Wagner for partaking in a carpet lint buffet in the shoe department of the Burlington Coat Factory.

And while eating stuff off the floor of a local retailer isn’t necessarily against the law, having a bag of crystal meth, another stash of mystery powder and a handful of unidentified pills in your pockets certainly doesn’t bode well -- Wagner had all three.

\When police asked Wagner why he was eating carpet lint, he allegedly told them that he was “eating sparkles" before admitting that he had been smoking meth prior to entering the store.

The carpet munching culprit was taken to a local police station where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
