The latest Johnny Depp and Tim Burton partnership is a movie version of the 70's television series Dark Shadows. And you know, if Depp and Burton are involved, Helena Bonham Carter can't be far behind. And sure enough,  she's in this film too.

Depp plays the lead character Barnabas Collins, a rich and powerful young man loving life in 1772...until he is stricken with a witches curse. She turns Barnabas into a vampire...and he is buried in a coffin for 200 hundred years. Cut to 1972 when Barnabas is released from his grave, into a world that looks nothing like he's used to. Whackiness ensues. See for yourself in the trailer below.

The Dark Shadows cast also includes Michelle Pheiffer (Grease 2), Johnny Lee Miller (Trainspotting), Chloë Grace Moretz (Kickass), Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen) and Christopher Lee (Count Dracula).

Dark Shadows will be in theaters on May 11th.
