Jars of Nice! Peaches and Mixed Fruit Recalled Due to Possible Glass Contamination

Walgreen's stores nationwide, including those in the Evansville area, have voluntarily pulled all jars of Nice! brand Sliced Peaches and Mixed Fruit after their parent company, Milky Way International Trading Corporation issues a recall due to possible shards of glass in the product.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) shared the company's announcement through their website on Monday. The recall was put into effect after Milky Way International received one complaint of glass being found in a jar of the sliced peaches. To date, there have been no complaints regarding the mixed fruit.

If you've purchased either product recently, check the jar for the following information to see if it's affected by the recall.

The FDA says affected jars should be returned to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
