Jail Ministry (Shaped by Faith)

Frances Briner and other jail ministry volunteers are making a huge impact on the lives of women inmates in Owensboro Daviess County.  Frances ministers to women inmates in the Daviess County Detention Center. The thing she does best is to listen and love the ladies right where they are.

Jail Ministry Mission:  To bring hope to the hopeless in their most desperate hour through the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Verse:  Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well”.

Frances and the other jail ministry volunteers have Bible study, worship and fellowship with the ladies at the Daviess Co Detention Center twice a month, the 2^nd & 4^th Saturdays,  from 9am-11am.

Through this ministry Frances and another volunteer are offering a Trauma Healing Program sponsored through the Good News and American Bible Society. The purpose of this program is to bring healing to the women inmates.
