Just today Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb signed the historic bill, allowing alcohol sales on Sunday. Ever since Indiana became a state in 1816 alcohol sales on Sunday have been outlawed. The bill was originally supposed to go into effect on July 1st, but a measure was added to make it effective as soon as it was signed into law, which happened today.
