I LOVE fresh fruits and vegetables, but the Farmer's Market is so much more that that and it's first day to operate this season is THIS Friday (May 16)!  Beginning at 8 a.m. you can see the latest additions to the Farmer's Market, which takes place every Friday in the lot at Northwest Second and Sycamore Streets.

Not only will there be the great offerings from last year of locally grown produce, prepared food and flowers, but also live music, art, soaps, candies and a lot more!  Admittedly, not as much produce will be available for the opening this Friday, due to cooler and wetter weather, which has delayed some local planting, but there will still be much to buy and enjoy.

The Farmer's Market in Downtown Evansville will run every Friday through September 26.

By the way, if you're an artist and would like to display your creations at the Farmer's Market, you can contact the Arts Council at 812-422-2111 or click here.
