Is Re-Signing Michael Vick Good or Bad for the Philadelphia Eagles? — Sports Survey of the Day

One of the biggest stories coming out of the 2012 NFL season was the future of Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. We now know the outcome, though whether it’s a good one or a bad one remains to be seen.

Michael Vick had quite the comeback with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010. They had a 10-6 record and what seemed like a very promising future. The year 2011, though, was a very different story, with the team finishing at 8-8 and missing the playoffs. Things got even worse this past season, as Vick was benched and the Eagles wound up at 4-12.

We found out Monday that the Eagles decided to “restructure” Vick’s original five-year $80  million contract and bring Vick back for just one more year at just $10 million. He will be a free agent after 2013. Given his decline with the team, is this move justified?
