The golf spotlight was returned to Tiger Woods this weekend, as he came away with his 76th PGA Tour win at the Cadillac Championship.

Golf's popularity surged when Woods was at his best in the late '90s and early 2000s. Then the big scandal/divorce hit in 2010, plus Woods suffered a few injuries that have taken time to recover from, and his star faded a bit. But now, the 2013 PGA tour season is going and Woods already has two wins.

Woods is number two on the all-time PGA Tour win list, having passed Jack Nicklaus last year. Will it be good for golf if he becomes the number one PGA Tour winner of all time? Does it get the casual fan more interested?
