Marvel is preparing for the much-anticipated 'Iron Man 3' trailer, premiering on October 23 at 12:01 a.m., but there are no shortages of spoilers. We've already seen photos of the updated Iron Man armor and how the Iron Patriot will end up looking through set photos, and some attendees at NYCC 2012 even got to see a clip from the movie during the Retailers Breakfast. Unfair, we know, but perhaps this reportedly new promo art for the upcoming 'Iron Man 3' poster will put you at ease.

Originally reported by Comic Book Movies, new promo art for a possible movie poster has been revealed, featuring an up-close look of the new suit in action. Dubbed the "Mark 47" -- being that it's the 47th model -- the new Extremis armor first debuted at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, where movie lead Robert Downey Jr. also made an appearance.

Though Marvel has yet to release the official movie poster for 'Iron Man 3,' we are still antsy for any updates we can get our hands on. And rightfully so, considering Robert Downey Jr.'s injury set back production for a bit. News of adding 3D to the movie as well as a possible surprise villain have kept us from going out of our minds with anticipation, however, and hopefully we'll see an official look at the 'Iron Man 3' poster soon. In the mean time, check out the presumed promo art image below.
