According to recent figures obtained by IndyStar.com, the Indiana State Fair shelled out nearly $640,000 to various performers, ranging from Kevin Costner & Modern West to Styx and Blind Melon, to perform on their 5,000 capacity free stage, which was included with a $10 fair ticket.
